About This Place

Nestled in the heart of New Rochelle, Gran Rodeo Bar and Grill stands out as a vibrant Mexican and Latin American family restaurant where authenticity meets warmth. From the moment you step inside, you’re welcomed by an inviting atmosphere buzzing with lively music and the rich aromas of freshly prepared Mexican cuisine. This is a place where family and friends gather to celebrate the flavors and traditions of Latin America in a setting that’s both comfortable and festive.

The menu at Gran Rodeo is a true celebration of Mexican culinary heritage, boasting an array of dishes that tantalize the senses. Signature offerings like the Michelada Blue and classic Margaritas perfectly complement the flavorful, traditional plates. The Molcajete Mix for Two is a standout — a sizzling medley of meats, cheese, and peppers served straight from the stone mortar, bursting with smoky, savory goodness. For a hearty start or a satisfying meal, the Fajitas Texanas deliver tender strips of marinated meat layered with grilled peppers and onions, while the Chilaquiles Verdes bring comforting layers of crispy tortilla chips drenched in bright, tangy green sauce topped with fresh cheese and crema.

Seafood lovers are not left out. The Camarones Hawaianos are exceptionally flavorful, combining succulent shrimp with ham and pineapple in a creamy sauce perfect for those craving something both sweet and savory. Likewise, the Camarones Al Mojo De Ajo offers a zesty lime and garlic embrace that’s simply irresistible. For a lighter bite, the Guacamole is always fresh and creamy, paired beautifully with the lively flavors of the Six Con Botana appetizer platter.

Vegetarians will appreciate options such as the Burrito Vegetariano, a lovingly crafted blend of sautéed vegetables, onions, tomatoes, and melted cheese, served alongside fluffy rice, beans, guacamole, and sour cream. The quesadilla selection is equally inviting, from classic Cheese and Mexican Sausage (Chorizo) to more unique fills like Flor De Calabaza and mushrooms, each bursting with authentic tastes and textures.

Gran Rodeo Bar and Grill’s genuine charm lies not just in its cuisine but also in its attentive service and friendly vibe. Regular guests rave about the warmth of the staff and the owner’s personal touch, which has included celebratory gestures like complimentary shots and joining patrons in celebration. It’s a place where you’re not just another diner — you’re part of the family.

While opinions may vary, the restaurant’s strong following highlights its authentic flavor profile and exceptional drinks, especially the margaritas crafted by Juve, known to pack a gratifying punch. Whether you come for an intimate dinner or a festive gathering, Gran Rodeo promises a flavorful journey through Mexico’s savory and sweet traditions, all within a welcoming, lively atmosphere that makes every visit memorable.
